About the Paintings
I create all painting using tube watercolors on "canvas" boards. I chose watercolors because of their brilliant colors and ease of use. I use them like oil paints because I like the thickness and texture they give when applied in a thick layer. I've tried acrylics but they don't blend in a way I like nor are they nearly as brilliant in color. Oil paints have always appeared too dull to me.
Unfortunately the photos here did not accurately reproduce the brilliance of the colors of the paintings,
so the pictures you see here are duller than the original painting.
All of my work is abstract.
Usually I don't have any plan when I start painting, I just paint what I feel and see what happens.
I paint only because I enjoy it.
Most times I do not discover what I am painting until well into the project.
Sometimes even then it is very hard for me to interpret what I've painted.
Since I only have two-dimensional vision (I have no depth perception),
all my paintings are done to appear two-dimensional.
Please enjoy the paintings!
