"Crystal Forest"
This was inspired by an actual event. There had been an ice storm and everything was covered with a quarter inch of ice. I went for a walk in the woods at Glen Helen near Yellow Springs. The sun came out, the ice warmed up and began to crack and break off the trees. The ice peices on the ground looked like a blanket of quartz crystals under my feet. As the peices fell off the trees and landed, they often landed with a "clink" sound as they hit other ice pieces, so they sounded like what you'd imagine crystals would.
