First Crocus, 2007
Those who have followed this site for a few years know the first crocus is always a big deal in my book because it's a certain sign Spring is coming!
I moved this year and planted tons of crocus in the fall, but wouldn't you know the first one up isn't one of the ones I planted? :) You never know what is going to come up in the yard of a new home, and this one was in the backyard behind my deck. About 7 others showed up the same day (it was nearly 70 degrees) but unfortunately they all got frozen out the next night. More are on the way, though... I hope including the ones I planted!
