Spring of 2005 has finally arrived!
The story this season so far: The beginning of April was amazing.
We had 2 weekends in a row with blue skies, 70-78 degree temperatures,
no rain, no frost, and everything came up and out into bloom
beautifully. Native Ohioans know this is EXTREMELY rare and
we never get that lucky.
And guess what? We didn't! The last weekend in April it not
only froze but snowed for 2 days (I've seen it snow as late
as May 9th here and the only good thing about that is a great photo
opportunity). I was very lucky because I did not lose any plants or blooms in the yard at all this time!
I swore to the good Lord I wouldn't take any more photos of
my yard this spring. After all, the plants are basically the
same. The day it snowed I broke my promise. The new photos are
at the top on the right. Enjoy and please pray for no more freezes!
