Baby Pine Tree (A.K.A. Persistence III), Fall 2006
This little guy was growing near the Superior Shore. A storm in the past few years had really beaten up the shore so it was nice to see some young trees making such an effort (hence: Persistence III). I have no idea what was hanging off this tree but I don't think pine trees that small produce cones.
