Blue Spot in the Sky, Fall 2002
The storm was rolling over Lake Superior. This cloud set up was interesting: the bottom layer was fluffy, dark and moving very fast.The upper level was flat and moving slowly another direction. Then, the sun broke through for exactly 5 minutes. To top things off, in the middle of the sky there was a patch of pure blue sky. (We don't get this kind of weather in Columbus so it amazes me.)
