Lake Superior Shoreline Rocks, October 2001
All along the area I walk on the Superior Shore are colored rocks of various sizes in the water, smoothed over from years in the lake. The rocks are brightly colored when wet but are considerable duller when dry. The water here was clear and I could see straight down for about a foot. This photo was taken looking straight down as a wave crashed in.
