New York from the Air, June 2002

As our plane left LaGuardia, I had a gerat view of Manhattan Island from my window. In the mid front is Harlem, then Central Park flanked by the Upper East and Upper West sides. The tallest building in the background is the Empire State Building in Midtown. In the far hazy background (barely visible) is Downtown. Although I was impressed with how well this photo taken from the plane window came out, the view was much more clear in person.
