Being able to create a great website starts with having a solid understanding of web site elements. The following are the skills and tools I am able to provide for creation of your site.

HTML
HTML is the building block of all web pages. I have extensive background utilizing HTML and prefer to code as opposed to using an editor. This strength gives me the ability to manipulate pages and get exactly the results I want. I use Notepad Plus, which is an extended version of the classic Windows Notepad. (For those interested, Notepad Plus is free and can be downloaded here.) I am also proficient in using commercial editors, including Dreamweaver and Frontpage.

JavaScript
I have a working knowledge of JavaScript. JavaScript is used in many ways on pages, including creating pop-up windows, scrolling marquees, automatically inserting dates, mouse rollovers, image slide shows, creating drop down navigation, and many other uses. I maintain a JavaScript library for inserting whatever function your site needs.

Image Creation
I reguarly create graphics, logos, backgrounds, and banners for my clients using a varity of image composing software. I primarily use Microsoft Image Composer, but have worked with Adobe Photoshop and Paintshop Pro. Visit the Graphic Design section for graphics I have created based on my photography.

Animation
Animation can bring a web site to life and draw attention to what you want your visitors to see. I use both Macromedia Flash and Swish to create animation. None of my clients have requested animation on their sites, but I created a sample for a New York City modeling agency that can be viewed here.

Whatever Your Site Needs
Whether it's a guest book, audio, search engine, or other web solution, it can be added to your site. Put a subscription service on your site to let customers know what is going on. Place your stock quote in your financial section. Have a rotating banner telling about your upcoming events and special functions. Whatever you need, I can get it working for you.
