First Frost on Fern Leaves, Fall 1999
I have this uncanny ability to catch the first frost of the season in many places I travel to, and it mostly happens when I'm sleeping outdoors. This morning the frost was covering most of the plants in the Senaca Rocks area with a thick frost. Later in the day, many plants had already started turning from green to brown.
