Pink Spring Flowers in Dolly Sods, May 2000
These were growing at Dolly Sods in a wooded area. They're called shooting star and are in the same family as the bleeding heart flowers. (Thanks to Mark for correcting me on the flower's name.) This area of Dolly Sods was protected from the wind by an area of pine trees.
